As of June 15, 2026, NICEATM — ICCVAM’s scientific support center — became a division of the newly created NIH Office of Research Innovation, Validation, and Application (ORIVA). 20 ORIVA coordinates NIH-wide efforts to develop, validate, and scale human-based methods such as organoids, tissue chips, and computational models. 21
